Educational Programs and Workshops:

JestMaster Productions, Inc. and Ye Olde Cambridge Jesters Academy present a number of educational programs, workshops and artist-in-residence programs for schools, school systems and groups of all ages.

Many of our performers and theatrical professionals are also certified teachers, and all have had extensive experience with children of all ages. In addition to our own programs, we work in cooperation with some of the major arts-in-education organizations in the country, including Arts For Anyone, Metropolitan Opera Guild, Orchestra of St. Lukes and numerous others. Through these collaborations, we are able to present programs created by these prestigious organizations.

In addition, some of the programs presented by these organizations have been created in whole or in part by JestMaster Productions, inc., and many others have used our production services for sets, costumes, management and more.

We believe that the future of the country, and indeed the world, is our youth, and that a solid background in the arts is both useful and essential in helping to develop a creative, thoughtful and well socialized generation ready to take on the challenges of life. The arts encourage children to think creatively, problem solve, work constructively with their peers and get hands on experience that they might not get otherwise... And all while having fun! We make learning a pleasure, not a chore, and try to instill a revitalized sense of accomplishment and self-worth to all our participants.

An educator and theatrical professional with whom we work very closely, Bruce D. Taylor, president of Arts For Anyone, and author of THE ARTS EQUATION: Forging a Vital Link Between Performing Artists & Educators, is fond of saying: "Parents often say, But my child is only ten years old'. We respond by saying, Your child is ALREADY ten years old'. Soon, actually in less time than your child has been alive, he or she will be out in the world, on his or her own.
